The amazing growth of Internet all around the world causes a language problem since only a few internauts can use their mother tongue on the net. It is why IT engineers have worked this problem out. Soon, enverybody will be able to use their prefered language on the Web.

With the Cefrio and the Céveil teams, Viagénie actively works on the internationalisation of the Internet. Moreover, Viagénie also participates to the internationalisation works at the IETF. Thus, Marc Blanchet has been elected as a copresident of the new working group on the internationalisation of domain name.

Finally, our Normos project is a good exemple of an international site. This site is not only the best place to find the standards and protocols of the Internet, but Normos is also an excellent testbed using the preferred-language tag.
