  7. Execute "qw-client-x11 -safe" in the "targets" directory
  8. Enter the "connect quake.ipv6.viagenie.qc.ca" command
  9. Welcome in the "quake world"...
We provide an IPv6 quake world server for you to experiment with, at : quake.ipv6.viagenie.qc.ca

The actual version works with a freebsd client connected to a freebsd or Slaris 8 quake server. The Solaris client compiles but is not stable.

The code was inspired by the Linux version by Pontus Lidman .
Many patches by Itojun. Thanks! www.kame.net

To Do:

  1. Integration of the Viagénie version in the official version of quakeforge
  2. Integration of quakeforge in the kame ports
  3. Play a multi-os deadmatch (FreeBSD vs WIN32 vs Linux vs Solaris vs ???) over IPv6 ;-)

Got a comment or a suggestion, write to quake-v6@viagenie.qc.ca

Team Viagénie.
